Live: M5 still closed in Devon after nine electric vehicles destroyed in fire

A car transporter carrying electric vehicles burst into flames on the M5[1] this morning, closing the motorway. Drivers were caught in huge delays between Cullompton services and Exeter,[2] with emergency services are at the scene of the blaze which started this morning (Wednesday, October 1). Diversion routes are in place around the closure, although there are delays due to heavy traffic[3].
