M25 reopens in Surrey after lorry overturned

A stretch of the M25 in Surrey brought to a standstill when a lorry overturned following a crash has reopened, National Highways has said.

All four lanes of the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 10 at Cobham and nine at Leatherhead were previously closed and a diversion put in place.

The crash happened at 10:40 GMT on Thursday and the South East Coast Ambulance Service said it treated two male drivers at the scene.

At 17:56 GMT, National Highways posted on social media that recovery and clear-up work was complete and that drivers could expect "delays of 60 minutes above usual journey time".
