M5 Droitwich: Woman ‘declined further treatment’ after lorry crash

A lorry and a car were involved in the crash, which took place near Droitwich on Friday afternoon (October 3). Emergency services rushed to the scene, where paramedics found one woman had minor injuries. She received some treatment but then declined further treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called shortly before 1pm to a road traffic collision involving a car and a HGV on the M5 between junctions 5 and 4a in Upton Warren. "One ambulance attended the scene. "Upon arrival we found a woman.

She was assessed and had sustained minor injuries. "She received treatment at the scene and declined further treatment from ambulance staff. She received self care advice before being discharged at the scene."

Police were also called to the scene and said the crash involved three vehicles. A spokesperson said: "We received a call around 2:20pm this afternoon (Friday, October 3) with a report of a collision on the M5 southbound between junctions 4a to 5. "Officers arrived to find three vehicles involved."

The crash was cleared by 3.30pm.
