Andrew Richard Patterson, 57, of Trent, Sherborne, Dorset, had been travelling in a VW Golf on the M4 junctions 19 to 20 and the M5 junctions 15 to 17 on Monday, December 9, 2024. The court heard that the 57-year-old had been driving at 71mph despite a 60mph speed restriction being in place at the time and was caught on speed cameras.
