Motorist caught by camera at 67mph on motorway on Christmas Day is disqualified
Attiq Ahmad was travelling eastbound between junctions 10 and 12, near Earley, when he was caught at 67mph by an automatic speed camera. High Wycombe Magistrates' Court heard how a temporary 50mph speed restriction was in place at the time of the offence on Christmas Day 2024. The 49-year-old, of Featherbed Lane, Croydon, pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on contravention of a Local Traffic Order.

He also received four points on his licence and was ordered to pay a ?569 fine, ?120 court costs and a ?228 surcharge.
The money must be paid in monthly instalments of ?100, starting from November 4.
