Surrey M25 live updates as overturned lorry closes motorway with six miles of traffic
An overturned lorry has closed the M25[1] in the anti-clockwise direction, causing major traffic disruption in Surrey. Traffic can not pass on the motorway[2] between Jct 10 (Wisley[3]) and J9 ( Leatherhead[4] ) due to the collision which has resulted in a lorry coming to rest on its side. Emergency Services including Surrey Ambulance Service are in attendance.
National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management. SurreyLive has contacted the emergency services for comment. Drivers instead are being directed down a diversion route, with National Highways warning drivers to allow extra journey time, plan ahead, you even re-route or delay their journey.
