Thieves snatch phone consignment from moving lorry in audacious heist
The early-morning raid happened after DHL truck left its base and was on the move

High-octane thieves stole a consignment of phones from a moving lorry as it passed through the Midlands.
The DHL truck was intercepted on the A45 westbound, between junctions 15a and 17 of the M1 northbound, and the M45 towards Coventry.
Northamptonshire Police said phones and electronics were snatched.
It did not detail how the early-morning heist was carried out.
It happened on Tuesday, October 14, between 12.40am and 1.45am. The force appealed for anyone with dashcam footage or who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. "The incident happened on Tuesday, October 14, between 12.40am and 1.45am, when the DHL lorry left the depot in Wellingborough and travelled along the A45 westbound, between junctions 15a and 17 of the M1 northbound, and the M45 towards Coventry, when it was intercepted and mobile phones and electronics taken from inside. "Detectives believe this theft was likely to have occurred while the vehicle was moving and are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch. "Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
