Live: A30 closed in Devon after serious van crash
The A30 in Devon has been closed after a van overturned in a serious crash. The road is expected to be closed westbound at Alphington throughout this evening (Friday, November 14), National Highways has said. Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "A30 Westbound closed, slow traffic due to accident from A377 (Alphington Junction, Alphington) to A30 (Woodleigh Junction, Cheriton Bishop)."
National Highways said: "The #A30[1] in #Devon[2] is CLOSED westbound between the #A377[3] near #Exeter[4] and the #A382[5] near #WhiddonDown[6] due to a serious collision involving an overturned van. "Due to the nature of the incident, the road is likely to be closed throughout the evening. More to follow."
