M4 lanes reopen after hay lorry blaze near Slough

Three lanes along a stretch of the M4 in Berkshire have reopened after a hay lorry fire.
The HGV caught alight on the westbound carriageway between junction 6 for Slough and junction 8/9 for Maidenhead on Thursday at about 16:00 GMT.
Firefighters worked through the evening to put out the blaze and dampen down the load to stop it flaring up.
Two grab lorries were also used to remove and break up hay bales from the trailer to stop the flames spreading.
National Highways said lane one would stay closed throughout Friday to allow the remaining hay to be removed from the edge of the motorway.
Repairs to a damaged barrier would take place overnight.
