Accident involved two cars and a lorry

The accident that has caused long delays on the M4 involved two cars and a lorry, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix. It is unclear if anyone was hurt. One lane has now reopened on the motorway, but two remain closed and there are long queues of traffic.

"Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to accident, two cars and a lorry involved on M4 Eastbound from J15 A419 Marlborough Road (Swindon East) to J14 A338 (Hungerford)," reports Inrix.

"Lanes one and two (of three) remains closed after the traffic was held in all the three lanes."
