Man dies in van crash near Scottish hamlet as police launch investigation

A MAN has died in a van crash near a hamlet in Perth [1] and Kinross, as police launch an investigation into the incident.

Emergency services were called to the A822 following the report of a single vehicle crash at around 12.20pm on Friday.

The driver of the Volkswagen van, a 78-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the passengers, a 58-year-old man, was taken to Ninewells Hospital by air ambulance. Advertisement Advertisement
