Police arrest pair after suspected stolen vehicle crashes with another on Matchams Lane at Hurn after failing to stop for officers on the A31 at St Leonards and St Ives
Two people were arrested after occupants of a suspected stolen vehicle fled the scene of a crash at Hurn this morning (Friday). Officers from Dorset Police's rural crime team were among those who responded to reports from Hampshire colleagues that the van failed to stop for them on the A31 Ringwood Road near St Leonards and St Ives. Shortly after that call came in around 10.15am, it was said to have been involved in a crash with another vehicle on Matchams Lane.
Minor injuries were reported, according to a Dorset force spokesperson.
Two people fled the vehicle on foot, and officers arrested a pair in connection with the incident a short time later.
