Authorities continue to warn Brits not to trust financial services[1] a British TikToker[2] described as the "pound shop Andrew Tate" claims to provide.

Harrison Sullivan -- who is known as HSTikkyTokky -- uses social media to try to convince people he can boost their -- or their business' -- finances. The young man, though, has a history of controversy, having just been spared jail despite crashing his supercar at high speed in broad daylight[3] and then escaping the UK to flee justice for more than one year[4].

And, in fact, the Financial Conduct Authority, which regulates the financial services industry in the UK, still warns Brits Sullivan's activities are not legitimate. It says: "This firm may be providing or promoting financial services or products without our permission.

You should avoid dealing with this firm and beware of scams.

"Almost all firms and individuals must be authorised by us to carry out or promote financial services in the UK. This firm is not authorised by us and may be targeting people in the UK."

The Financial Conduct Authority states, on its own website, details of social media accounts it believes are connected to HSTikkyTokky, who is an amateur boxer.

"Some firms may give incorrect contact details including postal addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses. They may change these contact details over time.

They may also give you details that belong to another business or individual, so the information looks genuine," the website continues.

"If you deal with this firm, you won't have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you have a complaint. You also won't be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if things go wrong. This means it's unlikely you'd get your money back if the firm goes out of business."

Sullivan, from Brentwood, Essex, admitted dangerous driving and driving without insurance and appeared in court again this month.

Staines Magistrates' Court heard witnesses told police Sullivan was "in a supercar going extremely fast" with one saying he was travelling at "at least 100mph or more" before the crash.

The car fanatic, who in a previous interview with a reporter admitted he was "racist... a misogynist... homophobic,"[8] handed himself in at a police station in England for the driving offence.

Data from the crashed McLaren[9] indicated Sullivan was travelling at 71mph in a 40mph zone at the moment of the crash, the court heard. "It was going 30mph over the speed limit on a single carriageway in broad daylight with other road users," said Kane Alexander, prosecuting.
