A38: Motorcyclist suffered injuries in Berkeley Heath crash

The crash happened on the A38 at around 6pm on Tuesday, December 16, at the junction with an unclassified road leading to Stinchcombe. It involved a white Vauxhall Vivaro panel van travelling from the Thornbury direction and a green Kawasaki 125cc motorcycle travelling from the direction of Cambridge. An 18-year-old man from the Fairford area, who was riding the motorcycle, sustained serious leg and arm injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

He has since been discharged. The driver of the van, a 34-year-old man from Wotton Under Edge, was not believed to be injured. Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Berkeley Heath earlier this month."
