Crash causing delays on A47 near Norfolk Showground

National Highways has confirmed that part of the road is closed. A spokesman said: "The A47 is closed westbound between B1108 at Little Melton and A1074 near Norwich due to a collision involving a lorry. "Norfolk Police are on the scene."

Road users are advised to follow the hollow triangle diversion symbol on road signs.

A diversion is currently in place for drivers:

• Exit the A47 at Thickthorn Interchange and take forth exit from the roundabout onto the A11 eastbound.
• Continue on the A11 towards Norwich.
• At the roundabout with Mile End Road, take the 1st exit on to the A140.
• At the roundabout with the A140/A1074, take the 1st exit on to the A1074.
• Rejoin the A47 westbound at Longwater Interchange.
