National Highways confirms M54 now reopened to eastbound traffic

The M54 has been reopened, with all lanes now accessible to eastbound motorisrs between J3 (Cosford/Albrighton) and J2 (Wolverhampton), National Highways confirmed.

A spokesperson said in a statement seen by the Birimingham Mail: "Recovery of a lorry following a collision yesterday morning is now complete."

The spokesperson said some minor delays are now impacting traffic as normalcy returns to the M54, with delays of less than 10 minutes remaining on the approach to the now-open carriageway.
