Multi-vehicle M4 crash left woman seriously hurt

A woman was seriously injured during a multi-vehicle crash on the M4 between Bristol and Bath[1]. Emergency services were called to the crash, involving three cars and a van, between junctions 19 and 18 at around 9.35am on Sunday, November 30. A woman in her 60s suffered serious injuries after a white Renault Master van reportedly collided with slow-moving traffic in the eastbound carriageway.

She was taken to hospital with a broken arm, fractured rib, nerve damage and a head injury. She has since been discharged to recover at home. Avon and Somerset Police are investigating the incident and are asking for anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage of the crash to get in contact.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "We are now at the stage of appealing to any witnesses and those with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward by calling 101 with incident number 5225336131 or complete our online appeals form[2]."
