Police release new image after biker and passenger killed in head-on crash on A228 Pembury Northern Bypass
Police are searching for the occupants of a car who may have witnessed the moments before a head-on collision involving a motorbike and two vehicles. The crash happened on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, close to the junction for Old Church Road, at about 6.40 pm on December 20.

It involved a black Triumph motorcycle and a light-coloured Jaguar car, which were both travelling towards Tunbridge Wells, and a silver Ford van heading in the opposite direction. Police and paramedics attended, and the rider of the motorcycle - a man in his 30s - and his passenger, a woman also in her 30s, were both confirmed deceased at the scene[1].
Their next of kin have been made aware. Officers are keen to speak to the occupants of a blue Ford Fiesta, as they believe they may have witnessed the moments following the collision. The vehicle stopped at the Esso petrol station on the junction of the Pembury Bypass at around 6.41pm.

Inquiries are being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, and officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to contact them.
Drivers are being urged to check dashcam devices for any footage which may show the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision.
Witnesses can provide information by contacting Kent Police on 01622798538 and quoting reference EW/DCG/090/25, or by emailing [email protected].
