Police update on crash which closed Yarnbrook Road

The crash, which took place on Thursday, December 18, saw emergency services rush to A350 Yarnbrook Road, between Yarnbrook and West Ashton. A Parcel Force van and a car crashed on the road, not far from West Ashton Primary School, at 11.40am. Wiltshire Police closed the road for several hours, as the postal delivery van was found with significant damage to the front driver's side.

A Parcel Force van and a car were involved (Image: Trevor Porter) Police officers who attended the scene have now confirmed to the Wiltshire Times that no occupants of either vehicle sustained serious injuries, and no arrests have been made.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We attended a road traffic collision at about 11.40am on Thursday (18/12) near Aston Hill Farm in Yarnbrook involving a van and a car.

"There were no reported serious injuries and no arrests."

The road was reopened to the public shortly before 3pm, and both vehicles have now been removed from the scene.
