Six people seriously hurt in road crash

Six people have been seriously injured after a crash between a van and a sport utility vehicle, Norfolk Police said.
The collision involving a blue Renault Master van and a white Volvo XC40 happened on the A146 Beccles Road in Hellington, near Loddon, at 17:24 GMT on Monday.
The van driver, a man in his 80s, suffered a number of life-threatening injuries and his passengers, a man in his 50s and a man in his late teens, were also seriously hurt.
The Volvo driver, a woman in her 60s, sustained major injuries and was transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, while her two passengers - a man in his 70s and a man in his 50s - were also seriously hurt.
All of those injured, other than the Volvo driver, were taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment, where they remained, the force said.
It added that the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the crash happened, with the van heading to Norwich.
Police sealed off the road until about 00:45 on Tuesday.
Officers asked anyone who witnessed the crash or had relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
