Woman dies following crash on Worcester Road in Chadbury

West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed that a pedestrian has died after being involved in a collision with a van this morning (Monday, December 22). An ambulance, paramedic officer and a critical care car from Midlands Air Ambulance responded to the scene after receiving a call from West Mercia Police at 7.41am. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "Crews arrived to find police providing emergency treatment to a pedestrian, a woman.

"Ambulance staff quickly took over to administer advanced life support.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone on scene, nothing could be done to save the woman, and she was confirmed dead a short time later."

The A44 Worcester Road, through Chadbury, was closed from the Chadbury roundabout.
