All traffic being held on M4 near Cardiff with lorry ‘on its side’

Two lanes are closed on the M4 westbound near Cardiff after a lorry crash near junction 34 which left the lorry on its side. Multiple police vehicles are at the scene and there are significant delays in the area according to traffic monitoring services Inrix and AA. The incident happened between junctions 34 and 35 heading westbound from Cardiff on Tuesday morning shortly after 10.30am with eyewitnesses reporting that a lorry is on its side in the carriageway.
The incident is still blocking two of three lanes almost three hours later at 1.30pm. The AA is reporting long delays and two lanes closed, while traffic camera pictures show all traffic at a near standstill in the area. You can follow live updates below.
