Both directions re-open after A385 crash

A crash involving a van and a car blocked a Devon A-road this morning. The collision happened on the A385 in Totnes,[1] leaving both directions blocked. Traffic was slow in the area between the A381 Brutus Bridge, at Brutus Bridge Roundabout, until Bridgetown Hill, near the River Dart.

The collision was first reported to traffic monitoring site Inrix at 11:52am on Monday, January 26. Police confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police, at the time of the collision, said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a van on the A385, near Totnes, at around 11.15am today, Monday 26 January.

"No injuries have been reported. "The road is blocked. "Emergency services are at the scene."

It was cleared by 1:13pm.
