Crash shuts A14 near junction of motorways

Part of the A14 close to the M1-M6 junction has closed due to a multi-vehicle crash.

The road has been shut in both directions between junction one for Welford and junction two for Kelmarsh.

National Highways said two lorries and a van have been involved in a crash on the eastbound side.

Traffic is unable to join the A14 from the motorways, according to travel system Inrix.

Northamptonshire Police has been contacted for comment.
