HGV driver taken to hospital after vehicle overturns on M4

A HGV driver has been taken to hospital after the vehicle overturned on the M4.

Emergency services rushed to the eastbound carriageway, between junction 15 and junction 16, at around 5:30pm on Wednesday, January 14, following a crash involving a HGV.

The vehicle had overturned and was blocking the carriageway.

One lane was closed as a result and traffic was queuing in the area, until the road was reopened two hours later. Advertisement Advertisement

The driver was taken to Great Western Hospital by ambulance as a precaution and there were no reported serious injuries.
