Ombersley road blocked after crash caused car to flip

The black car overturned following the crash in School Bank, Ombersley, near Droitwich, leaving the road blocked to traffic. A lorry and the car crashed near the A449 underpass in Ombersley, near Droitwich, at 12.30pm on Wednesday (January 14). A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call at around 12.30pm with a report of a crash in Ombersley.

"Officers arrived to find three vehicles involved and remained at the scene to manage traffic." A photo captured by an eyewitness showed the overturned car resting against the pavement, with the boot open and a number of items spread across the floor. Drivers travelling through Ombersley reported heavy traffic on the A4133, and AA Traffic reported queueing traffic in both directions.

The road was reopened by 3pm.
