Police drop investigation into fatal crash suspect

No drivers involved in a fatal crash on the A120 in Essex will be prosecuted, police have said.
A man in his 50s was killed in the multi-vehicle accident at Coggeshall on 3 January.
Police arrested a man in his 40s[1] in connection with the incident, but said on Thursday that neither he nor any other driver would face further criminal investigation.
Det Insp Mark Fraser described the circumstances of the crash, which happened shortly before 07:00 GMT, as "tragic".
Officers initially treated the incident as a suspected hit-and-run and appealed for information about a white van that had been set on fire nearby.
However, detectives said they had since built an "accurate picture" of what happened.
"We're not looking to speak to anyone else as part of the investigation," Essex Police added.
The force has been finalising a file to be handed to the Essex Coroner's Service.
Fraser said: "All our thoughts remain with the man's family and friends."
