Three seriously hurt in van and taxi crash

Three people have been seriously hurt after a taxi and a broken down van that was being pushed by two men crashed in West Lancashire.
A white Peugeot Bipper van had broken down on the A585 near Windy Harbour in Fylde and was being pushed to the side of the road when it collided with a blue Volkswagen Transporter taxi at about 18:15 GMT on Sunday, Lancashire Police said.
The van driver, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.
A man in his 30s, who had stopped to help, and the taxi driver were also taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
