A35 – Motorcyclist hospitalised following crash in Chideock

The three-vehicle crash involved a car, a motorcycle and a van on the A35 Main Street in Chideock shortly before 7.30pm on Tuesday. A road closure was in place for around two and a half hours, and vehicle recovery was arranged. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 7.27pm on Tuesday, February 24. of a three-vehicle collision involving a car, a van and a motorcyclist on the A35 Main Street in Chideock.

"Officers attended and road closures were put in place.

"The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

"Vehicle recovery was arranged and the road had re-opened by around 10pm."
