Baby left with serious injuries following crash on M6 slip road
Enquiries are ongoing to find the driver and passenger of a white Ford Transit van, who police believe to be injured

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a crash on an M6 slip road left a baby with serious injuries.
Officers were called to the slip road at Junction 29 (Bamber Bridge[1]) at 4.25pm yesterday, February 13, following reports that a white Ford Transit van collided with three stationary vehicles. The vehicles included a HGV and two cars.
Police said a baby girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
She remains in hospital.
The force said that following the crash, the driver and passenger of the Ford Transit Van left the scene. Enquiries are ongoing. It is believed they both have serious injuries.
Sgt Ben Elliott, of Lancs Roads Policing Unit said: "A baby has been left seriously injured following this collision and our thoughts remain with her and her loved ones at this time.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate two men, the driver and passenger of the White Ford Transit van, and I can reassure you were are doing everything possible to find them.
"We are particularly concerned for them as we believe they sustained serious injuries in the collision, and strongly encourage them to come forward to us.
"I am appealing directly to you, the public, for your assistance.
If you have dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision, please do get in touch with us.
"We are also aware that there may be people who witnessed the collision that we haven't yet spoken to. If this is you, or if you know someone who was travelling on that road at the time, please let us know."
