Bracknell – woman in hospital after A322 crash with lorry

At 7.15pm on Monday (February 23), a woman driving a car near Bagshot Road was involved in a crash with a heavy goods vehicle. Police said the woman was taken to hospital for her injuries, where she remains at this time. The driver of the lorry was not injured, officers have confirmed.

Crews from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations attended the scene after receiving reports of a crash at 7.12pm. The Bagshot Road in Bracknell was closed in both directions following the incident from Ringmead to Opladen Way. On arrival, one person was found trapped following the collision.

Crews closed the A322 and rescued a person from the car, before they were placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Firefighters were on scene for about one hour and 26 minutes.
