HGV driver arrested on suspicion of drink-driving

An HGV driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after his lorry was involved in a collision.

Wiltshire Police said the heavy goods vehicle overturned, blocking both lanes on the A303 east of Mere, Wiltshire, at about 08:00 GMT on Saturday.

There were no reported injuries but the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.

He is currently in police custody.
