LIVE: M6 traffic as motorway SHUT at Tebay services

Part of the M6 has been closed this rush hour after a lorry crashed into the central reservation. Drivers[1] are being warned of 30 minutes delays in the area. The crash took place at junction 38 for Tebay services in the Lake District. A diversion using the slip roads has been put in place.

The northbound carriageway is currently closed. Try MEN Premium NOW for just GBP1[2] National Highways North West posted: "The M6 is closed northbound within J38 Tebay due to a HGV which has collided with the central reservation.

Road users are advised to divert using to entry and exit slip.
