Long delays on M20 between Junction 2 at Wrotham and Junction 3 at Swanley after crash involving car and lorry

Traffic is being held on the M20 after a crash involving a car and a lorry. The accident happened at around 11.30am on the London-bound carriageway between Junction 2 (Wrotham) and Junction 1 (Swanley).

Posting on X, National Highways said: "Traffic is stopped on the M20 westbound between J2 (M26) and J1 (M25) due to a collision. "Emergency services and traffic officers are on scene.

"Delays are building with two miles congestion in the area causing at least 30 min delays." A police spokesperson confirmed officers had been called and two lanes of the carriageway have been temporarily closed.
