M25 all lanes open near Brentwood and M11 after lorry crash

The closure affected the M25 anti-clockwise between Junction 28 for Brentwood and Junction 27 for the M11 after a crash involving two lorries on Tuesday. The crash was caused by a tire blow out on one of the lorries, which resulted in causing a crash with another lorry. Repairs complete and all lanes now open on the #M25[1] anti-clockwise between J28 (#Brentwood[2] and J27 #M11[3].
No significant delays are reported, thank you for your patience. pic.twitter.com/2Ob8PgOujM[4] -- National Highways: East (@HighwaysEAST) February 26, 2026[5] One lorry left the carriageway, bringing down power cables, and crews spent three days repairing the damaged cables and the roadside barrier.
All lanes were initially closed, but after around four hours, most reopened apart from one lane that remained shut for repairs.
National Highways confirmed late last night that the first lane is now re-open after the incident, opening all lanes on the carriageway.
No congestion has been reported on this stretch of road, but commuters are always advised to check the latest traffic news being travelling.
