M4 shuts between Miskin and Pencoed after lorry overturns

There have been severe delays on the M4 on Tuesday morning, February 17, after a crash involving a lorry. Traffic monitoring system Inrix said a lorry had overturned at Junction 34, Miskin, near Pontyclun. The road closed in the westbound direction and there were diversions in place while emergency services worked at the scene.

Drivers were being urged to allow for extra time when travelling via the M4.

All lanes have now re-opened and traffic has returned to normal.
