M4 traffic LIVE: Lanes closed on Prince of Wales Bridge after serious crashes

A major motorway bridge has been brought to a standstill following two serious collisions[1] which have sparked 50-minute delays. Drivers are currently facing miles of queues on the M4 Prince of Wales[2] Bridge between Junction 23 and 22. Two of three lanes on the eastbound carriageway are closed after a car struck the central reservation[3].

Traffic is slowing down on the westbound side. There are four miles of congestion on approach, as well as slow traffic in the westbound direction as drivers have been slowing down to catch a glimpse of the crash[4].
