Man dies in crash between lorry and car

A man has died in a crash between a car and a lorry in Kent, police have said.

The crash happened shortly after 10:00 GMT on Wednesday on Swale Way, in Kemlsey, near Sittingbourne.

Kent Police said a red Ford car was heading towards the A249 when it crashed with the lorry.

South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended but the man, who was in his 50s, was confirmed dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed, police added. Advertisement

An investigation has been launched and Kent Police is asking anyone with any information, or with footage, to get in touch.
