Motorcyclist injured as air ambulance called to crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a van.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 4.45pm on Wednesday.

The crash happened on the A144 near Halesworth at the junction with Noller's Lane.

Drivers faced delays as the road was closed[1].

Both a land and air ambulance attended, and the motorcyclist was transported to hospital by land ambulance with serious injuries. Advertisement Advertisement

The driver of the van also sustained a chest injury and was taken to hospital.

Recovery was completed by 11.15pm, and a spokesman said the road reopened soon after.

No arrests have been made in connection with the collision.
