Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on A465 Belmont Road

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police has confirmed that they were called to a crash involving a motorbike and a van on the A465 Belmont Road at around 7.45am this morning (February 27). The rider of the motorbike has been taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries. Earlier this morning, Google Maps showed heavily congested traffic on Belmont Road near the A49 Asda Roundabout.

Traffic is now moving at a relatively normal pace on the lead up to the major junction, with no emergency services visible at this part of the A-road.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that firefighters did not attend the incident.
