Police seek witnesses to serious collision on A426 between Rugby and Lutterworth

DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the A426 between Rugby and Lutterworth on Saturday evening (February 7). A red Peugeot Partner van and a black Hyundai i20 collided near Cotesbach at 7.50pm. The Peugeot was travelling along the A426 Rugby Road from the A5 towards Lutterworth, with the Hyundai travelling in the opposite direction.

The drivers of the vehicles, both men, and a female passenger in the Hyundai were all taken to hospital with serious injuries. The passenger's injuries have been described as life-threatening. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle driving beforehand.
