Slough and Eton Business and Enterprise College padel plan

The courts, with canopies, lighting, enclosure boards and synthetic padel tennis surfaces and a walkway around them, are proposed for land between pitches and the M4. The proposal states: "The existing Powerleague facility at this location comprises eight synthetic football pitches, each with associated enclosure boards, fencing and flood lighting. "The site also benefits from an ancillary and supporting pavilion building which provides changing facilities, event space and a caf?/ bar.

"The site is part of the college complex, with associated access and surface level parking, and the College has dedicated access to the facilities during the day (typically 9am-5pm)." It adds: "The Powerleague facility is located to the southern boundary of the college site, and the immediately surrounding areas accommodate a mix of educational buildings, sports and associated facilities. "The application site is a vacant strip of land sitting immediately to the south of the Powerleague pitches and bounding the M4 motorway embankment, which runs east/west in parallel to the site.
