Two people have been taken to hospital following a head-on crash involving a truck and another vehicle. The A1307 Babraham westbound has been closed since around 6am this morning (February 20).[1][2]

Police were called to the scene at 5.25am and closed the road. Ambulance crews also attended the scene.

A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service said: Two ambulances and a paramedic car were sent to the A1307 at Barbraham this morning following reports of a road traffic collision.

Two patients were transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital[3] for further assessement and care."

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire[4] Police added: We were called at 5.25am today with reports of a head-on collision between a truck and another vehicle on the A1307 at Babraham.

The westbound carriageway has been left completely blocked and will be closed until the end of the morning as a result."
