Appeal following crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle crash on the M876, Stirling on Saturday, 14 March 2026. Around 3.15pm, police were called to the slip-road at J1, where a black Vauxhall Corsa and a blue VW Crafter van were involved in a collision. The 32-year-old female driver of the Corsa was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe her condition as serious.

The 31-year-old male driver of the van was also airlifted to hospital. According to medical staff, he is in a stable condition. The passenger from the van was not injured.

Constable Calum Gracie, Road Policing Unit, Stirling, said: "We are appealing to any motorists on the M876 who saw the crash or who may have any information or dash cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward." Details can be passed to officers via 101.
