That friend also had an illegally modified e-scooter, which was seized too. Investigations into 'truly amazing' mother's death after crash are ongoing[3] Fiona Myhill, 51, of Rougham Road in Great Massingham, sobbed at Lynn Magistrates' Court back in September[4] when she appeared charged with drink-driving.

This followed an incident which saw her car, a Nissan X-Trail, collide with a Ford Fiesta on the B1145 in Rougham on May 19[5], resulting in the death of 52-year-old Karen Eateen in hospital the next day.

Yesterday morning at Norfolk Coroner's Court in Norwich, the inquest into Ms Eateen's death was adjourned until June 8. Man will be held in custody until May after 12-hour stand-off with police[6]

Kelvin Powley, 47, of Meadow Close in Narborough, is accused of a catalogue of offences following the incident in early February. Officers were first called just before 5pm on Thursday, February 5[7], following reports of a concern for safety.

Ambulance and fire crews were also on the scene, and negotiators, dogs and drones attended as the situation escalated. It was eventually resolved nearly 12 hours later. Powley appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court last Monday, charged with four counts of assaulting an emergency worker, one count of arson, and two further assaults.

Several pieces of wood, including some reported to have nails protruding from them, were among the rubbish left at the side of Clockcase Road last week. Residents reported that three more fires were started in the area, and firefighters rushed to extinguish at least one at 11.13am last Tuesday. It comes after a whopping 65 tonnes of the fly-tipped rubbish were cleared[9] from the village by West Norfolk Council at the weekend.

Groom, of Jewels Close in Burnham Norton, was supposed to be sentenced at the Lynn court last Thursday, but staff have said that this listing was "moved". They were unable to provide a reason as to why Groom could not be sentenced, and said a date will be refixed in the "next few working days". Groom has been released on unconditional bail between each of his court hearings.

Man, 22, admits dealing heroin and crack cocaine[11]

Cameron Black, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin following warrants in Downham and Peterborough on March 3. Black appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on March 4, when he admitted the offences. He is due to be sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court on April 15.

Black's conviction follows a police operation which involved officers seizing drugs worth thousands of pounds, making 32 arrests as part of a crackdown on county lines dealing in Cambridgeshire.

Man suspected of dangerous driving and weapon possession during road rage incident[12] Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a road rage incident in Babingley. It happened at around 4.15pm last Thursday on the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way and involved a white Nissan X-Trail, a black Suzuki Swift and a white Ford Transit van.

The driver of the Nissan, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage, dangerous driving and possessing an offensive weapon.

Business owner 'baffled' after spotting alleged child sex offender performing in town centre[13] An alleged child sex offender has once again been spotted busking, but this time in a different town centre. A Lynn business tipped the Lynn News off that Edwin Godden, 54, had been performing in town recently.

At the beginning of the year, there were sightings of him performing in Swaffham too, which sparked concern.

Godden confirmed his identity to the Lynn News when approached on Friday afternoon.
