Dad killed in M6 crash was ‘well-liked character’

A father-of-six who was killed in a crash on the M6 was a "well-liked and memorable character", his family have said.
Daniel Hill, from Oldham, died on 3 March when a white Renault van, in which he was a passenger, crashed with a crane truck on the motorway in Cheshire between junctions 16 for Crewe and 17 for Sandbach.
Paying tribute to the 34-year-old, his family said he was a hardworking man whose partner and children were the "centre of his world".
They described him as an avid rugby and football fan, who played the former for his town's team, while he also had a "great love of music."
