Driver in critical condition after serious crash in Ombersley

A DRIVER has suffered life-threatening injuries in a serious crash in Ombersley yesterday (Thursday).

The incident, which a Volvo hitting a tree, happened on the A449 around 5.30pm.

The car was travelling towards Claines when it struck the tree on the central reservation. The driver was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition. Police have appealed for anyone who has not spoke to officers to come forward.

They are also urging anyone who saw the car or who has dash cam footage of the moments prior to the crash to get in touch.
