In court on Thursday, following a six-month adjournment, a teary Myhill faced the more serious accusation of causing death by driving while unfit through drink - an indictable-only offence for which magistrates said their powers were "insufficient" to deal with. The paedophile came under Norfolk Police's radar after officers received information that he was engaging in sexual communications with underage teens.

Officers felt she was "making a scene" by failing to comply with a dispersal notice to leave the area. She snatched it from them and stormed off, before later being found on a bench - still within the restriction zone - inhaling lighter fluid and drinking cider.

At Lynn Magistrates' Court on Thursday, Hannabuss, of Duggie Carter Court, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with an exclusion order.

In mitigation, solicitor Ruth Johnson explained that on the day, a young family member had texted the victim asking for money for her school lunch - but was told no Magistrates handed Ellis - who had received a caution for criminal damage last year - a 12-month conditional discharge for each offence, which will run concurrently.

However, exactly four months later, he landed himself in the dock for breaching it on two occasions. The first incident on January 24 saw him make a post on Facebook referring to the girl, which said: "Wonder what she's doing right now.

Miss you a lot." Less than a month later, he posted on the same account showcasing a tattoo of her face on his arm, with the caption "miss you". Magistrates handed Beattie a ?120 fine for the first breach.

The police officer entered the property through a window and told him to stay where he was - but instead, Riley attempted to pour the substance down his sink.
