Pedestrian taken to hospital after Leicestershire collision involving lorry

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital[1] following a collision involving a lorry in a Leicestershire[2] village, not far from the Derbyshire border.
Leicestershire Police[3] received a report of the incident just after 3.45am on Friday, March 13.
The collision occurred in Tamworth Road, which runs through Measham towards the M42.
A woman was taken to hospital.
Police said they are "unable to confirm" the extent of her injuries at this stage.
The force confirmed that no arrests have been made, and that officers remain at the scene as Tamworth Road[4] is still closed.
