Six people injured after A77 crash involving bus, car, and campervan in Ayrshire

Six people have been injured after a crash on the A77 in Ayrshire[1]. Emergency services rushed to the scene near Minishant, following the smash between a bus, a car, and a campervan, around 5.15pm on Friday, March 27.

Police[2] say the driver of the bus, as well as three passengers, were taken to hospital for treatment. Two others have also attended hospital as a precaution

Traffic Scotland confirmed the busy road[3] reopened around 10.30pm.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The A77 at the junction with the B7034 near Minishant, Ayr, has re-opened following a three-vehicle crash.

"The crash happened around 5.15pm on Friday, 27 March, and involved a bus, a car, and a campervan.

"The driver of the bus and three passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.

"Two further people have also attended hospital as a precaution.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
